Cooking Station | IHP4 & Fume Hood

The Inductive Hot Plate (IHP), allows free cooking as in restaurants on the ground. It consists of a Ceran cookingtop with two standard cooking zones and one extra-large cooking zone for woks. To ensure safe use on board, the IHP has easily removable and cleanable fixtures to secure pans.

All visible surfaces are made of stainless steel, making the product robust and easy to clean. For maximum comfort and safety the IHP can be used with a Fume Hood (and to avoid odours spreading through the cabin). The IHP is based on approved technologies and designed especially for large VIP aircrafts.

The design of the IHP is based on the main electronic components of the qualified induction oven AAC4. The design is according to FAA Issue Paper, PSANM110-2000-113-1015 and Airbus 2530M1E011100.

The Fume Hood works with air circulation. It is equipped with strong filters to avoid odours spreading through the cabin. The Fume Hood has two integrated LED spotlights and a smoke detector which switches off the IHP automatically in case of unusual fume generation.

The design is according to FAA Issue Paper, PS-ANM110-2000-113-1015, Airbus 2530M1E011100 and EASA D-08 “Installation of an open cooktop in the galley area of a VIP interior”.
